Team Coach and Instructor Philip Else has been successfully teaching kickboxing, grappling and Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) classes for the last 5 years in the Reading area. Phil has trained with and continues to train with Leigh Remidios and Gaz Roriston, two of the most respected fighters in the British MMA community. Phil has studied the martial arts for over 10 years, training in karate, judo, kung fu, no-gi jiu jitsu, wrestling, boxing and muay thai. As a professional fighter, he has experience competing in MMA at all levels, karate, kickboxing and submission grappling. In class, his focus is on the techniques and game plans he knows have proven their worth on the mats, in the ring or in the cage. The class sessions are open to students of all levels and abilities and we have a Pro MMA Fight Team, Amateur MMA Fight Team and Submission Grappling Team competing at a high level around the UK. We welcome anyone just wanting to train for enjoyment as well as those who wish to compete. We also have a number of female students attending the classes and competing.
