This is for women who are in peri-menopause and menopause. Having been there and, I think, done that, I feel that there is a lot to be said about it. I feel that menopause is a valuable opportunity for women to re view their lives and create new possibilities for their futures. There is so much said about aging and menopause that does nothing to empower women at this time. I felt that I was ''lost'' for a long time and couldn’t understand what was happening. Then I had my ''aha'' moment and at least knew what was causing my feelings. I was in the process of redefining my map of the world. I have spoken to women, who have approached menopause in many different ways and have had different experiences. I have researched it and found it fascinating. I feel that it is a significant time of a womens’ life. It is important that as such, this journey is acknowledged, its significance understood, the pain and the pleasure, and perhaps celebrated, to allow us to move forward with a purpose and a passion towards a future that is fruitful and of our choosing. This day is an inspiring day that allows women of menopause to be heard and supported to claim a future that is powerful and purposeful. I am more than happy to give a talk or presentation to any womens’ groups who are interested. There are limited places on the day as I wish to create a very special environment for all who find their way there. Thank you
