A key aim is to promote better integration of research and treatment in order to ensure the rapid introduction of new effective treatments and improvement of current treatment. We provide training sessions for PwMS to help with managing the condition. We establish patient and carer partnerships to improve the relevance and quality of research. We work alongside the MS Research and Support Unit and the Charitable trust of United Bristol Hospitals (who, as before, continue to manage the MS Unit's research funds) and other Bristol based research groups.
