I'm Col Lloyd and I provide documentary wedding photography, based in beautiful Lancashire, UK. Having been a studio, commercial and live music photographer for many years, I have experienced some incredible times and been privileged enough to capture these moments as images for people to enjoy for years to come. Capturing special and emotional moments is what gets me up each day and keeps my passion and energy for the amazing medium of photography well and truly alive. This passion for capturing the special, the emotional and the magical, led me to documentary wedding photography. I wanted to re-tell the story of the incredible day through my images, so that it can be relived after the fact and also importantly, re-felt. The wedding day is such an amazing time, but it also can be busy with lots going on and many small, but important and emotional things that happen can be missed. When captured and formed into beautiful images, these small but significant times, moments and interactions between people who are there to celebrate the day, can be experienced by the wedding couple for years to come.
