Castleneuk Guest House offers 4 ensuite bedrooms (2 double with kingsize beds, and 2 twin/double) each with tea/coffee making facilities, hanging rail, flat screen TV with Freeview channels and hairdrier. A comfortable guest lounge is also available where games, books and maps/guides of the local area can be used at your leisure, and a dining room with views over open countryside. Evening meals are available each night and packed lunches can also be provided. Walkers and cyclists are more than welcome and we have a drying cupboard available for guests to use (just in case!) together with a covered and secure area for the storage of bicycles. Castleneuk is also pet friendly - please notify us at the time of booking if you intend to bring your pet with you so that we can allocate a room accordingly. Ideally located on the A68, we are central to many local attractions and historic sites in the North East of England - Beamish Open Air Museum, Gibside Hall, Hadrian's Wall, Corbridge, Hexham, North Pennines AONB, Durham Dales, Teeside, Raby Castle, Auckland Castle, Barnard Castle to name but a few, and all are within a 20 - 30 minute drive of Castleneuk.
