Our traditional Oak beams and mantle range are from beautifully grained solid European Oak, available in all grades and sizes. Our product range is sourced from more than one European country to provide high quality to our customers. Our reclaimed timber beams are sympathetically stripped and sanded to bring out their original quality. We give each beam unique and special attention to bring out its character and natural colour. We do not sand the beams back to new wood, as this would lose the natural aging that has taken place. We at Fireplace Beams recognise the importance to reconcile our work with the need for social and environmental responsibility. We support sustainable forestry. We source our timber sustainably wherever possible and only stock logs from responsibly managed woodlands. Fireplace Beams supports tree planting schemes throughout the UK and periodically contributes to initiatives by local regeneration and conservation groups.
