Founded by author and Emotional Educator jean Bond, Atlow Mill is a registered charity and centre for Emotional Education. It offers bespoke training and facilitation to individuals and groups - both within the centre and within the wider community. The venue is situated within a valley in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside and offers the unique opportunity for both intimate community engagement and quiet self reflection. The centre offers five main day long and weekend courses, centred around self discovery and emotional awareness. The learning centre is also affiliated with the University of Derbyshire and is able to offer a Postgraduate Certificate in Emotional Education - which can be undertaken across nine residential weekends. This is a stand alone certification - unlike any other currently available in the UK. It is an extremely valuable enhancement towards the existing skills set of all therapists, educators, facilitators, community activists and agents of change.
