Maybe life has become difficult and we can’t cope, or have lost our direction? YOU NEED NOT STRUGGLE. I have counselled and support clients with a variety of life’s problems, from specific concerns to issues where the client is less sure as to the cause of their unhappiness. I share my time currently between Adult Mental Health Day Services and Private Practice. I have previously worked within Community Youth Counselling Agencies, the NHS, Further Education, and Drug and Alcohol Misuse Service. My aim is always to provide a clear, open, supportive and ethical service to enable people to explore, understand, and manage their lives within an ever changing and difficult world. I offer one to one counselling as a space for you to talk about whatever is of concern within a confidential environment. Coming to terms with, and gaining understanding of past issues and traumas, enable clients to learn more about themselves (including sexuality) and explore questions relating to their life. I have lived experience of questioning and developing my Gender Identity. Through dealing with my own transition I am well placed to support others making a similar personal journey. As a therapist this makes me quite unique in understanding what you maybe are experiencing. The first meeting is an opportunity for you to begin to talk about your concerns, and for us to decide what support is appropriate for you
