I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor accredited by the National Counselling Society. I work in an integrative way and have experience of many different issues and problems which bring people to counselling. I work in private practice and in the voluntary sector, specialising in bereavement counselling. I work to strict ethical boundaries as laid down by the BACP and everything we discuss is completely confidential. I offer a half hour initial consultation free of charge to establish your needs and for you to also decide if you feel counselling is the best way forward for you. This can either be in person or on the telephone. All sessions after this are one hour in length and cost £35. I do offer reduced rates for students (with valid NUS card) and for those who may due to their circumstances find it difficult to meet the cost. This can be discussed at our initial consultation at your request.
