Bio Born in Scotland in1975 I have been working as a freelance illustrator since 2004 and now live near London. My relationship with pencil and paper started at an early age when I spent more time in school copying illustrations from textbooks than doing school work. I have lived in both Mexico and London and worked as a freelance Illustrator for the past 8 years. I use a healthy mix of both traditional and digital mark making techniques but my work is predominantly digital. From collage to drawing, I create original artwork combining vector, pen and ink, and, now and then, a little watercolour or photography. Eclectic but considered, my work is built on an interest in people, nature, typography, fashion, pop culture, found paper and pattern. Through my work I have been lucky enough to work within a range of media including editorials, advertising, book covers, animation and packaging. I have also had the opportunity to work with some lovely creative people who continue to inspire me.
