Hydrotechnix® HHO Supplemental Fuel Cell Systems are sometimes known as ''Hydrogen on Demand'' systems. Using a process called electrolysis, HHO gas is produced from water, electrolyte, metal plates and electricity. The HHO gas is then sucked into the engine and mixed with the existing fossil fuel (the petrol, diesel or bio-diesel the vehicle, generator, boat etc already runs on). When the HHO gas is added to the fossil fuel, it raises the octane level. Normally, some of the fossil fuel is wasted as it is not burnt inside the engine. By adding the HHO gas, this ‘wasted’ fuel is now used. Basically speaking, by adding HHO gas you get many more miles to each tank of fuel. Hydrotechnix® takes customer safety very seriously. Our HHO Systems include a patented safety device to stop the production of HHO gas in the event of collision or accident. We only use quality, tested components in our Systems and provide extensive warranties. We are also the first UK HHO Company to be granted Product and Public liability insurance. There are many HHO units, kits and systems on the market today. Most are so called DIY kits. Untrained individuals are encouraged to’ have a go’ at making and fitting the devices with no experience. These should be avoided as they could be potentially dangerous. DIY kits void yours and your customer''s motor insurance. Our Systems are accepted by most UK motor insurance companies.
