Before training as a counsellor Mary worked as a research scientist at Edinburgh University.After gaining her PhD in Genetics she moved to Edinburgh where she worked in the field of Genetics and cancer research. She''s also a qualified teacher of biology and currently lecture part time at a further education college in Edinburgh. She''s now operate a private counselling practice in Cockenzie, East Lothian. She live with her partner and their two dogs in Cockenzie and her hobbies include walking the dogs, music and photography.
