Young children love to cook, and everywhere you look it seems people are telling you of it’s importance. But Cooking with toddlers can be messy, takes preparation, and requires a certain amount of dedication to the cause. This is where Crafty Cooks comes in. Children as young as 2.5 years until 10yrs old can come along to a home environment, and in small groups have great fun making a whole range of sweet and savoury foods, enough to take home and share with the family. The children will cook completely from scratch learning new and valuable life skills through play. Cooking is fantastic for a nurturing a whole array of skills, it builds confidence within the children and is a lovely inclusive activity for a carer and child to do together. At the end of each session the children receive their own recipe card, building a file of tried and tested recipes to recreate at home. We offer a wide range of different options which you child would love: Children''s parties Why not get them cooking? Fun and educational cooking parties with no mess for Mum and Dad to clear up afterwards. You could even use their creations as party of the party meal. For children of all ages in a venue of your choice, or at your home. Why not add something to their party bags, cooked by their own fair hands. Crafty Cooks gift vouchers make ideal presents from Grandpa, Granny, Aunts, Uncles, and Godparents etc. Parents "not just sandwiches" evening. Kids fed up with the same things everyday? Always stuck for lunchbox ideas? Want to include some healthier options? Why not get a group of friends together and we can try out and test some nutritionally rich ideas to keep those lunchboxes interesting! Classes These are run and paid for termly. I run a Saturday morning class for children that can''t come during the week. These are mainly for older children 4yrs + and are very popular with Dads! They are run on a bi-weekly basis. I also run classes on weekday mornings. These are run on a weekly basis and are for children from 2.5yrs and up. They are run from my home in Hadleigh. Workshops These are offered on an adhoc basis. Great as a taster session or to give you something to do during the holidays or half term. Please check our website out for details.
