I offer counselling in Twickenham and Teddington working with people on a wide range of issues including depression, anxiety, self esteem, relationships and bereavement. You will be supported and accepted without judgement or criticism, enabling you to explore your inner world at your own pace. I believe that developing acceptance and awareness in a safe, confidential space facilitates change and choice as I have experienced with clients and in my own development. My integrative counselling approach combines this humanistic philosophy with assumptions that our past experiences can shape how we think, feel and behave in the present day, and that this can be re-written in therapy. Counselling sessions last approximately 50 minutes and usually take place weekly at the same time that is convenient for you. You can come for as long as you find counselling helpful, which can also be discussed in the first session. Where psychological problems are persistent counselling can be long term and sessions may also be more frequent. I work with adults, couples and young people.
