Harriet House is a Montessori school which believes in the joy of childhood and the adventure of learning. The Montessori ethos is applied throughout the school and there is a strong emphasis on positive role models, manners and respect for each other and the environment. We feel children should be allowed to discover their environment in their own individual ways and develop their unique skills in their own time. We aim to produce a full and varied curriculum for the children allowing them to discover where their interests lie. Alongside the Montessori we have termly topics, swimming, short tennis, cookery, French and music and movement.
