I have extensive experience in counselling and psychotherapy with individuals and couples, working for many years as a counsellor and supervisor in the voluntary sector until 1991 when I began in private practice as a psychotherapist and supervisor. The range of issues with which I think I can effectively help is wide but in addition I have a special interest in the fields of abuse, trauma, loss and bereavement and am a Registered Trauma Therapist and qualified practitioner in EMDR. However, my initial training was with Relate, so I also have long and varied experience in working with couples whether straight or gay, or relationship problems in traditional or blended families.
