More recently Jenny devoted 10 yrs working as Animal Welfare Officer for the Guernsey SPCA where much of her training was through the RSPCA. She was also the Channel Islands Voluntary Welfare Officer for the Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary. One of Jenny’s responsibilities at The GSPCA involved re-homing dogs, where an understanding of canine behaviour and canine/human psychology was essential to successfully pair owners with prospective pets, to rehabilitate and train.Jenny saw many puppies and adult dogs admitted for re-homing because their owners did not understand them, and could no longer cope with common behavioural problems, such as biting, stealing, barking, chewing the furniture, jumping up & chasing the cat! (To name just a few). For the last few years Jenny has been running clicker-training classes focusing on puppy socialisation. To enhance her skills in this area Jenny completed The Puppy Class Instructors course through COAPE. Check out my website for more information: www.naughty-pets.co.uk
