We offer assistance, advice and signposting where necessary in relation to: Housing Adaptations and Equipment Benefits & Debts Independent Living Trusts Transport Welfare Rights Complaints Disability Discrimination Disputes Arbitration and Conciliation Court of Protection Financial Management Obtaining Grants Legal Matters And Others With wide experience and exposure to the workings of the Health Authorities, Social Services, Mental Health issues, and the Benefits System our Independent Living Advocacy works within the Social Model of Disability and independent living principles.We provide Free Independent Living Advocacy to promote the empowerment of disadvantaged and disabled people, including those with mental health issues. By process of empowerment, we support this category of people to take control for themselves. Our advocacy encourages our clients to speak up for themselves and/or to support them to secure their rights and/or make informed choices.
