AMS Waterjet Profiling provide a high quality waterjet cutting solution, where our focus is to provide an efficient and cost effective cutting service for our Customers. Utilising our advanced waterjet technology we can cut virtually any material, up to approx 200mm thick. This includes waterjet cutting aluminium, brass, carbon fibre, ceramics, copper, foam, glass, mild steel, nylon, plastic, rubber, stainless steel, stone, tiles, titanium, wood plus many many more. We use Omax waterjet machines that enable us to cut the most accurate parts, with no heat affected zones or distortion. Waterjet cutting is an environmentally friendly, cold cutting process that is an ideal method for cutting prototypes, one-offs or small batch production runs up to 1,000 parts. Our waterjet machines are equipped to cut taper free parts and we can achieve a tolerance of +/- 0.05mm dependant on material and part size. We have 5 different qualities of cut, which aid you in designing your perfect part and allow us to produce a finished profile or a near blank part for you. With our drill accessory we are able to successfully pierce brittle, composite and laminated materials before the waterjet cutting process, allowing us to produce parts with no delamination. Our 5 axis cutting head enables us to create angled and complex 3D shapes, including a bevel edge, countersunk hole and weld prep edges. We are able to nest your parts effectively, resulting in maximum yield and minimal wastage of material.
