Unlike tracks, they allow you to choose from a wide range of curtain headings such as tab top and eyelet for a modern look and pencil pleat if you prefer something more traditional. We have everything you need to select your own components for an individual look and to get around the problem of oddly shaped or differently sized windows. Follow the guidelines below for help in deciding how best to achieve your own style successfully: Select a pole: These come in varying lengths. Choose one that’s long enough to allow your curtains to stack back to the sides of the windows. Poles can be cut to size or joined with a connector if made from metal. Most wood poles come with a double end screw to join them. You''ll need an extra centre bracket for poles over 180cm in length. Choose your curtain rings: It''s best to have 1 ring for every 10cm of pole. Choose your brackets: All poles will need 2x side brackets and those over 180cm long will also need a centre bracket and connector. For bay windows you will need to use flexible bay corners in conjunction with passing brackets. These brackets give intermediate support and, with the open ended passing rings, allow the curtains to move across them freely.
