My name is Lisa Marie and I own A Step Back In Time, with my husband Lewis and my son Leon we make an awesome team. I have always been arty and always made instead of bought, but when my son was born I had my eyes opened to a whole new world. I saw how time sped up, how one minute he was tiny and the next not so, that coupled with my beautiful Pug getting older everyday made me realise that not only should we cherish every single day but that we should have a memento of these stages too. That is just another of the reasons why we concentrate on dogs and cats just as much as babies, children and adults. Previous to my starting A Step Back In Time as a full-time business I was a Qualified Head Veterinary Nurse for many years. That coupled with me being a Mummy puts me in an ideal position to work alongside animals, children and adults. We deal with all sorts of people here at A Step Back In Time. We see new born babies for their feet to be cast but also couples getting married having their entwined hands cast. We see dogs having their paws cast to cats having a paw print ready for jewellery. We make jewellery for all ages, from ladies buying cufflinks to propose to their partner to a piece of jewellery for a doting great Nanny. There are no age limits and there is something for absolutely everyone. Our life casting comes framed in beautiful hand-made solid wood frames in your choice of oak hue from light to dark. You can even have a completely bespoke frame made for you (prices will reflect this). Each of the life casts itself comes in your choice of colour; be that antique silver, aged copper or antique gold. Our fine silver jewellery features several collections depending on who you are using as your muse. That could be a loved one''s foot print, hand print, nose print, paw print, kiss print or even a drawing or written quote or sentence. Your piece will be completely unique to you. We also have a non-personalised range which is just as bespoke in copper or silver.
