Woodmill Canoe Shop is the leading supplier of canoeing and kayaking boats, equipment, accessories and clothing in the South. The Shop is based at Woodmill Outdoor Activities Centre site in Swaythling, at the head of the tidal River Itchen, in a converted mill surrounded by parkland. Woodmill is an independent retailer with knowledgeable & friendly staff and also has an online shop. Woodmill Canoe Shop is also hiring Touring Kayaks, Sea Kayaks, Sit-on-Tops, Play Boats and White Water Kayaks by half days, full days and weekends. No paddling qualifications are required to hire for local use on the River Itchen, however, experience paddlers will need to submit proof or qualifications for equipment to be taken further afield. Most sizes are catered for and hire includes Buoyancy Aid and Paddle. Other specialist clothing and equipment can be hired for extra. Open all year round with free on-site car parking.
