China Publishing Group (CPG) China Publishing Group is a large-scale national publishing institution, founded in view of intensifying the reform and accelerating the development in publishing industry. Xin Hua Distribution Group Corporation, a holding company of CPG, is composed of Xinhua Bookstore Head Office, China National Publishing Industry Trading Corporation, China National Publications Import & Export (Group) Corporation, China National Post Logistics Co., Ltd. and China National Post Mail-order Co., Ltd. The China Publications Distributing Group, with the production and marketing of different media publications as its main business, integrates publishing and marketing, chain-operation, import & export trade, copyright license trade, printing and reproduction, information technology (IT) services, scientific research and development, and fund-raising. With a total of 6,000 employees at their posts, the group owns 27 publishing houses, including the vice-shingle publishing houses, which annually publishes 5500 titles of books, 500 titles of audio-visual products and electronic publications, 47 titles of periodicals and 3 titles of newspaper. Aurora Publishing LLC Aurora Publishing LLC Ltd (APL), the predecessor of which is UK branch of China Translation & Publishing Corporation Ltd (CTPC) under China Publishing Group (CPG) until 2009. The Company, as located in 215 University Boulevard Nottingham UK, specializes in translation and on-line publishing businesses. On September 2010, with a view to pursue further development and to expand businesses in culture and education, the head office of CPG made a decision on spinning off this branch''s digital publishing department as an independent UK registered company: Aurora Publishing LLC Ltd. On October 27 2010, attended by Mr. Chen Yingming, Vice Director of International Exchange and Cooperation Department of General Administration of Press and Publication of P.R. China, Mr. Liu Bogen, Vice President of CPG, Mr. Zhuang Dingshan, Director of APL, and Mr. Wu Liangzhu, Representative of CTPC, an agreement of restructuring and reinvestment was jointly signed. APL, as the restructuring has been completed, is the 30th overseas branch as well as the 10th overseas publishing entity of CPG. The Nottingham Digital Bookshop, as recently established, is the first overseas digital bookstore of CPG.
