• Thorough fault-finding and problem solving are my forte. I want to get your boiler or appliance working well again as soon as possible. I’m qualified (CPA1) and equipped for combustion products analysis which, as of April 2012, is a legal requirement.

• I’m an independent tradesman with no vested interest in persuading you to buy a new boiler or appliance, aiming instead to restore your existing one to as near optimum as possible. If economic repair proves impossible however, I will, with your permission, refer you to an excellent associate who can supply and fit a new boiler or appliance for you.

• My aim is a relationship with clients based on professionalism, trust and mutual respect – clients who are happy to ask me back to work in their home. I'm very happy to explain what I'm doing – I dislike “smoke & mirrors” and won't try to blind you with science.

• I don't charge for my time travelling to local visits (within a roughly 10 mile radius) – I charge mileage at 40 pence per mile.
