The Chinese have perfected the art of dumpling making since the Sung Dynasty. Chinese dumplings may be round or crescent shaped, boiled, steamed or pan fried and the fillings can be sweet or savoury, vegetarian or filled with meat and vegetables. They are then wrapped in a flour and water dough a little bit thicker than a Wonton wrapper. Not only delicious as well as nutritious, they are also ideal for those watching their waistlines as a typical serving of the Mó:Mo Special has only 300 calories. Here at Mó:Mo we always endeavour to source ingredients locally and our superb dumplings are served with a variety of salads or various noodle side dishes, and of course on a cold winters day, you can start off with a bowl of warming Miso soup. Located at 15A Kensington Gardens, Mó:Mo is designed as a welcoming and relaxing environment to eat in. A mainly all white decor and neutral furnishings, with a relaxing lounge area complimenting the welcoming feel of the place, which attempts to bring the outdoors/inside, with its unusual floor and wall coverings. We have also devoted one wall as a gallery space for local artists to display and sell their works.
