The Association of Osteomyologists is an umbrella organisation of natural health care professionals specialising in a multitude of practises ranging from the musculo-skeletal sciences to the more esoteric energy medicines. Established in 1993, the association provides a national directory of practitioners and an extensive range of membership, professional training, CPD and revalidation opportunities. The philosophy of Osteomyology is vitalism not "symptom treatment" syndrome. Not one method is seen as a cure all - chemical and physical methods are failing or not the complete answer. Working with "Treatment Reinvention" (TM) practitioners inter-train to switch seamlessly between bodywork protocols, synergising techniques to provide a wholly new form tailored to suit their patients needs. The Association of Osteomyologists provides a variety of health care services and professional training for patients and practitioners, which are designed to be both cost effective and meet current regulations at all times. With private treatment centres across the country, the association is lead by an experienced team enabling members of the public to find the right practitioner for them and for professionals to commence, maintain or expand their professional careers. Insurance, support and professional guidance is available to all Osteomyologists. Training courses for 2011 include: Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine; Total Manipulation Skills; Peripheral joints diagnosis and treatment; Clinical treatment for disease; and Ergonomics, each taught by leading doctors in their respective field. Courses are available for newcomers and qualifying practitioners - ranging from beginners to advanced. All seminars are held at weekends and based in the Warwick/Leamington/Stratford area.
