Pollys taxis are a co-operative of owner drivers working out of the heart of Durham City. We were established in 2009 although we have over 60 years of taxi driving experience between us. We pride ourselves in providing a reliable, punctual and friendly service. Local businesses and hotels frequently use our company. We are very popular with the many students in the City, which they say is down to our friendly attitude and helpfulness. Pollys Taxis operates 365 days of the year. We have received many a nice letter or e-mail about our service, one in particular from Lady Balfour who wrote personally to Durham County Council to thank us for our kind help when she visited the City in 2009.
